We started the new year off with a fun New Year's Day party with Roman, Max, Christine, and Stephen. We had a great time. It was their first New Year's Day party and a birthday party for Roman all in one. They hope to continue this new tradition every year. And I hope so too. Colby loves his Russian friends Roman and Max. He and Roman are the same age and the boys are from Yekaterinburg region in Russia. It is amazing how we all have come together. So, here are some cute photos from the party. And lucky me! They were taken with my new Canon camera. A gift from Santa to Mike and me.

Sooo cool that you guys are able to get together. How wonderful it would be if it could be on the high seas in 2013...I know it's a stretch but we're hoping you can make it! And Kristina LOVES cotton candy...she's eating blue cotton candy as I write this (left over from Disneyland!!)

We're talking about it Laura but it will be a stretch. We're also looking into moving so not sure if we can do everything we'd like right now. Colby keeps seeing comercials for the Disney Cruises on TV lately. He gets so excited. But, we'll see.

Hi Melissa, this is a real fortune that your son has friends from Ekaterinburg. Our son has his best friend from the same babyhome, which will be adopted by another italian family, so they can keep in touch and meet each other in Italy. they have some photos taken together in the babyhome, so it will be a great memory for them in the future!
